How Does Our Adoption Process Work? It's as easy as 1,2,3!
1. The first step to adopting one of our puppies is to fill out our puppy application. I am available to speak to you by email or text before a deposit is placed. We want to insure our puppies go to loving safe forever family homes.
2. Once the puppy application is received, reviewed and approved, a $500- $350 refundable deposit must be placed to hold your puppy until pickup. The deposit amount apply toward your final adoption price. My prices range from $800-$1000. I do have a deposit holders wait list. These families have priority over other families not on the list. When a family accepts a puppy as the one they want, that puppy is reserved for their family and will be noted as sold on our website and/or Facebook page. They will then be able to get access to our puppy cam to watch their puppy grow and play until their go home day.
3. Puppies go to new families between the ages of 8-10 weeks. The balance due of puppy purchase price (less deposit amount) must be made in cash at pickup. No exceptions!
Attention Deposit Holders
If you are ready for a puppy please contact me asap.
I am finding most of the time deposit holders do not respond to my emails or Text or are not ready for a puppy when I make contact with them. Therefore effective immediately, I request you contact me instead. I have closed the waitlist permanently. Your deposit is still good and will be applied once you select a puppy. It will never expire.
About our mommas...
The gestational time for puppies is two months. Expectant mommas close to due dates sleep with us in our bed so that we can be alerted if they go into labor at night. Otherwise they are upstairs with us so that we can keep an eye on them. Once labor begins, I stay with them through the whole process helping them through labor. Once the puppies are born, they and their mommas are in our nursery kennels for 2 weeks. At 3 weeks they go into playpens in our nursery with Momma. At 5 weeks they get a Neopar Parvo shot (preventative I do extra) and are then moved into the living room to start socializing with a few of my adults. This also helps them get accustomed to a busy household. The puppies are either in playpens or on the floor in exercise pens. Their mommas can come and go as they please to nurse them or just to check on them. They get their first puppy shot at 7 weeks and go for a well puppy visit with my vet. The puppies are ready to go to new homes at 8 weeks.
